Optimistic - happy - grateful - enjoy good health, very blessed with a wonderful son who is in the Navy and 3 grandchildren - live on a farm that I dearly love with 35 horses, chickens, ducks, a dog and cats. Love being outdoors, working with my horses, doing barn chores, gardening in my flowerbeds, doing home and yard projects. Enjoy keeping my home neat and love to decorate it. Always have a project going on. Graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown in 1970 - graduated from SFA University in 2002 with a BSN in Nursing. Showed and bred Arabian horses for over 40 years - now raising Miniature horses and have a big horse for my granddaughter who loves horses as much as I do. Have bred and shown several national champion horses and love to compete, though am not currently doing any showing – just breeding and marketing. Interested in taking up team penning in the future. Have a wonderful group of friends in town and other places that I enjoy getting together with. Am never bored, enjoy cooking, dressing up and going out equally as much as getting in my work clothes to work outside. Enjoy dancing, road trips [just went to a rock concert which was great fun], and visited my Navy son in Washington State where he is stationed. My grandkids visit often and love it here on the farm. Love the hill country, the beach, Cancun, good seafood restaurants, museums and am an avid reader when I get time. My farm/home take up most of my time as there is always work to be done which I consider fun, not a chore. Enjoy sitting with company on my deck watching the moon come up or sitting around a big outdoor fire, and cooking/entertaining in my home.
